American Dream in Las Vegas!!!

 When we had started this trip, our destination had been Los Angeles, but we changed to San Francisco to stay in Las Vegas. Why? The reason is only to do gambling! That's American Dream!!!
Actually I though this trip was lack of excitement a little, so I proposed to change our schedule. Everyone agreed with me finally.

 From now, we are going to have a dinner, then do gambling on a large scale! I WILL be a millionaire like the picture above. I have nothing to lose!!! We never know until we try.

Day 3 Las Vegas

We changed our route because my friend started to cry out "I want to go to Las vegas and see some awesome shows!"
But that`s GOOD! Because our trip was "casualty of Life" . We can change our route anywhere what we want!

Therefore we changed the train and fortunately could arrive at Las vegas in the morning.We had enough time to go sightseeing!

We caught a taxi and got in and s some shows. Actually these shows were absolutely beautiful and wonderful and exciting!
After show my friend was very excited so he bought some show`s costume and suddenly put on this on the street and started dancing!
I found he was completely crazy guy.

1 hour later he became very tried and smoked....

But our trip and the train were very amazing, so I was really happy and got a nice experience!

10 MINUTES IN GORE CANYON!!!!!!, VERY SAD!!!!!

This day was very sad for me.....The day before we arrived to Gore Canyon there was a great storm. We were stopped during 6 hours, because the train couldn´t move in that storm. When we arrived to Gore Canyon we couldn´t do anything because the train only stopped during 10 minutes. I went to talk  and complain to the train driver, because I wanted to be there 6 hours, like it was programed.....but the train driver told me that he followed orders from his boss and he couldn´t  do anything and he had to continue.
Gore Canyon was one of my favorite places in this trip. I wanted to made rafting on one of the best rivers in the world............... I was very sad........and......I went to drink alone.......:(

When i crossed the sandia (Dady Dado! The Sandia Mountains are in New Mexico...you're in Utah!) mountains by train i ve seen _____ beautiful landscape in my life :)

And when the train stopped i enjoy it to climbing the mountain and i walked like 10 KM or less it was a difficult road .
After a while i saw a small lake _________ i decided to sleep [here] ;) ..
But the beautiful view it was the sunset between the mountains :)
At night i decided to camping here after that i set up my tent it took it a lot of time because i camping alone :(
After i set up my tent i cut some wood to make fire to drink hot tea :)
After that some people [walk ]to me _____________ they want camping [here], i was happy to see them because i making friends on my trip :)
In the midnight after the wood fire was turned off by it self we enjoyed watching ___ beautiful sky and stars in the dark

Day 2 Utah

This morning was by far the most terrible morning I`ve ever had!
At midnight a big storm attacked our train and we had to get off our train.
After that we went to a small hotel and went to bed, but actually I could not sleep at all because this hotel was too dirty and small!

This morning we could get on the train again, but our trip was already about 6 hours late.
Therefore we arrived at the Great Salt Lake in the evening....we did not have a enough time to go sightseeing...

After we arrived at the Great Salt Lake, my friend suddenly started to swim....Oh my....He was so crazy!
I just watched him but he was getting on my nerves.
I did not know why...but I asked him and I found that he wanted to swim together....

Therefore we swam together.

From Winter Park Ski Resort

I'm blogging from Winter Park Ski Resort in Denver. Here it is so cold, the temperature in this morning was -50F (-46C)!! Can you believe it? Just freezing(￣□￣ ;) If you forget to wearing heavy outer jacket, you can become an ice fossil. But staying here is even more comfortable than in Amtrak in view of the food, accommodations, and service. Everything is impeccable!
Since it was bad weather, we had to wait for 6 hours on the way here. One of my friends was angry, and another one was nervous about the weather, but I didn't mind at all. All we could do was wait for the storm to pass. I know we are weak under the power of the nature.
Hence, I'm enjoying winter activity here. Going skiing is absolutely fun especially early in the morning because nobody is there!!! Actually I want to stay here longer, but we have to go back to the Amtrak trip.

Day 1 Nice roomette!

After Amtrak left Chicago, we stayed in our roomette and talked about our trip.
At noon we went to the dining car to eat lunch.
We ate beef, chicken and raw fish and drank 2 bottles of red wine.All of meals were absolutely delicious and we enjoyed our lunch time.
After lunch, we went back our roomette and drank a lot of beer while we watched beautiful scenery.
About 3 hours later, my friend was very sick from some food and wine and beer.....and he was using the in-room toilet, so I could not use the in-room toilet.
Therefore I took a shower and took a walk on the train.
The compartment and shower room were very clean and comfortable but the hallway was pretty narrow.
But it`s OK!
I really enjoyed on 1st day!

DAY 1: TOO SMALL!!!

Finally we could get in the train. We had to wait 30 minutes because Bluesky didn´t find his ID. The train was amazing, until we arrived to my room. IT WAS TOO SMALL!!! I didn´t know how we were going to sleep there....... I shared the room with my friend Bluesky........despite our surprise we left our baggage and we went fastly to the restaurant to eat something and to drink beers and enjoy the beginning of the trip. I ate and we drank too much. I started to get sick from the food...... I got up from the chair and I to my room, I only wanted to get to my in-room toilet. I was inside a lot of time, but [finally]I[already] was like new again and continued drinking,  the problem was that the toilet and the room smelled so bad. ;)

Day 1 : Adequate!

We are staying on the Superliner Roomete, which consists of 2 reclining seats, a fold-down table, and a wide window. During the daytime, we can see a nice scene through the window with comfortable seats. When we sleep at night, these seats are converted to 2 simple beds. Surprisingly we can take a shower in Amtrak, but we have to pay attention to the swinging of the train. Otherwise we may fall and nearly drown. Be careful!!!

Speaking of the food, it was mediocre. I ate the salmon, but it was a little dry out. I think it had been roasted shorter, and it would be juicier! But totally its sauce,the other food, and white wine were good. I was satisfied with that dinner because I hadn't expected a meal.

I hope I can sleep well tonight!

THE BEGINNING OF THE TRIP!!!!

Today we started the trip between Chicago-San Francisco by Amtrak.

I am going with two friends and we are very excited. We are going to cross the whole U.S, 2.430 miles!!!!. This year there was a change to the route. The railroad will join the Colorado River, following it for 400 miles through numerous remote canyons. In Utah, the railroad will cross The Green River basin just north of Arches National Monument, then we will cross the Wasatch Mountain range over Soldier Summit before dropping down into Sait Lake City. Sounds good!!!!.

In a crazy coincidence, we met with 3 friends who were going to take a similar trip but  between Chicago-Los Angeles. They were also  excited. We talked about our travels and decided to keep in touch by blog and follow each others experiences on the trip.

Our trip started today!

Today our trip started!
I was very happy to go on our trip with my best friends and go to San Francisco by Amtrak.
Actually, we have been preparing for this trip for 2 months.
On this trip, we can see the national parks in Colorado and Utah, therefore we are looking forward to seeing the beautiful mountain view!
At the station, we met three tourists who will go to Los Angeles by Amtrak. We talked about each others trips and promised to exchange some information on each others blogs.
We were excited to meet other tourists at on the same day!
We hope both our trips will be a success!

Beginning of the Trip

We're just starting the trip from Chicago to San Francisco by Amtrak. I think this trip is not very exiting because there is no ocean on the way(T_T) But I'm looking forward to sharing this memorable experience with my best friends;-) And we met a similar group planning to go to Los Angeles at the Chicago station. They were really exited about their trip(^-^)b We promised to keep in touch through each others blogs(^o-)/ We're going to post information about our Amtrak trip daily.
Anyway, I hope we can all arrive at our destinations without any troubles!!!
